What is the paleo diet?

The paleo diet, also known as the caveman diet, consists of eating foods that would have been consumer during the Paleolithic era dating back approximately 2.5 million to 10,000 years ago.

This diet is typically made up of lean meats, fruits, fish, vegetables and nuts. All of those foods having been hunted or gathered during the Paelolithic era. Foods such as dairy, grains and legumes are not included in this diet as these are what would have been farmed post 10,000 years ago.
