On a hot summer’s day there’s nothing more perfect than an ice cold drink, right?

Time to swap out the classic alcoholic cocktail for a gut friendly drink that’s beneficial to your health!

Packed with antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, polyphenols and more, apple cider vinegar has been used for centuries for many different uses. ACV has been known to help with:

– Easing bloating

– Digestive issues such as IBS

– Lowering your cholesterol.

Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, ACV can be used to help ease symptoms of arthritis and may also help with skin irritations such as eczema, psoriasis and acne.

Another great benefit of apple cider vinegar is that it may help to encourage healthy weight loss, too!

How to take your daily dose

Although we have a range of ready-to-drink ACV good gut shots, you are able to drink our unpasteurised apple cider vinegars, too. We recommend diluting the ACV with water and honey (to add a little sweetener to it), alternatively you can add it into your smoothies or create some yummy summer mocktails and shrubs.

Honey, Ginger and Lemon Shrub

A healthy and refreshing alcohol alternative. The combination of honey, ginger and lemon creates a delightful shrub. A perfect cocktail for all of the seasons.

With a prep time of only 5 minutes, this shrub is definitely a must try. Using our Willy’s Turmeric & Black Pepper ACV and 1 half of a fresh ginger, you’ll definitely be feeling fresh and energised after finishing this drink. You can even swap out the fresh ginger and use a splash of our fiery Ginger ACV good-gut shot, instead!

Turmeric: an anti-inflammatory known to help improve heart health and symptoms of depression and arthritis.

Honey: an antioxidant rich ingredient. Honey can help protect your body from inflammation preventing health issues such as heart disease and autoimmune disorders.

Ginger: an antioxidant rich ingredient known for preventing stress and damage to your body’s DNA.

Beetroot and Juniper Shrub

With no alcohol, this refreshing and tart mocktail is perfect for brunch. fresh beet juice is key- we recommend pressing it at home.

This drink has a slightly longer prep time as we suggest that you make this overnight but trust us, it’s worth it!

Made with our original Willy’s apple cider vinegar, this is a perfect way to get in your daily dose of wellness.

Apple cider vinegar: an antioxidant, great for improving your overall health and wellness.

Pineapple: consisting of a digestive enzyme, bromelain, pineapple has both anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties. Pineapple also has vitamin C.

Citrus and Turmeric Switchel

The citrus of this switchel makes for a perfectly refreshing drink on a hot summer’s day.

Using our Willy’s Turmeric & Black Pepper with Honey ACV.

Turmeric + Black Pepper: with the help of piperine (a compound in black pepper) the pairing of black pepper and turmeric helps better the absorption of curcumin in the body (a compound in turmeric). This may help to reduce inflammation and improve digestion.
