Our healthful ingredients and what they do for your health
Here at Willy’s we are all about using organic, raw and unpasteurised ingredients. We carefully choose healthful ingredients to pair with our ACV to ensure we are bringing you top notch, quality drinks! So we’ve made a little list of our top ingredients, why we love them and why we add them to our lovely products.
As I’ve mentioned a fair few times before, when it comes to spices for gut health, turmeric is the ONE. Turmeric contains several compounds with medicinal properties – the main one being curcumin.
Curcumin has SO many health benefits such as:
- Supporting the immune system
- Mood boosting
We pair turmeric with black pepper in our products as black pepper contains pipeline. Studies show that piperine is a natural substance that can increase turmeric absorption by up to 2000%.

One of the key ingredients we use in our products is GINGER!
The health benefits of ginger have been known for years but ginger has only recently started to make its way into the spotlight – with the likes of ginger shots and ginger tea.
I’ve found the following health benefits of ginger (either from my research or my personal experience), hence why I’ve added it to some of our ACV drinks!

- Helps with weight loss
- Lowers cholesterol
- Decreases bloating and cramping
- Improves mood
- Lowers blood sugar levels
- Helps to reduce menstrual pain
- Reduces nausea
- Fights infections

Beetroots aren’t just a beautiful, vibrant vegetable, they are PACKED full of antioxidants and other goodies. Beetroots are a great source of fibre (ideal for our guts!), folate, iron, potassium, manganese and vitamin c. Studies have shown that these delightful nutrients lead to numerous different health benefits, including:

- Potentially fighting inflammation and improving digestive health
As well as having my Willy’s beetroot ACV shot, I also love to add beetroot to my salad recipes to add a bit of colour and diversity.
